Greetings Tenants of Watson's Resort. We are looking forward to another good year. So far it has been a very busy spring. Each year I tell myself that "next year will not be so busy". Such is not the case this spring. Besides our typical winter and spring projects and things to do, we have been hit hard this year with several unexpected problems. Needless to say, this has put us somewhat behind. We will continue to work hard to play catch up with the hopes that things will run much smoother once summer gets here.
A few reminders for the spring -
1 - All major spring clean up is to be done by June 1st.
2 - We have noticed that yard blowers have become a very popular tool for yard clean up. These work well for cleaning walkways and roadways but we ask that you not use blowers to blow your debris from your yard onto another tenants yard or onto a resort road way.
3 - Fire safety, please be sure to clean your roof off if needed. Also check your fire alarms and fire extinguishers as so stated in the lease and rules. Do not use decks and units to store paints and other items that can cause fire danger.
4 - Read your leases and rules. If you have any questions, please check with management.
5 - Remember, all guests are to sign in and register at the resort office upon arrival.
6 - Check this Forum and/or the resort bulletin board from time to time for updated items. It is the Tenants responsibility to check the bulletin board for such items as we can not notify every tenant with every item that may need addressing.
In closing, we are looking forward to another great summer. We have the best Tenants and guest around. It is our tenants and guests that make Watson's Resort what it is.
We are happy to have Ambria and Kristen returning this summer to work on the gas dock. This will be Ambria's second year at Watson's and Kristen's third year. We also have a new fellow working for us this year to help out with everyday resort projects. Adam has been working for us since last Fall and has done a great job for us. We are happy to have him on board. Please feel free to introduce yourself and get to know this nice young man. If you need any sideline help or work, please feel free to check with Adam but we ask that you make arrangements to meet with him at the end of the day. Five minutes here and ten minutes there all add up. Please keep this in mind. If you have any problems or concerns, we also ask that you address such things with management rather than with our employees.
One change you will see this summer is a music system for the main beach. We will try this and see how it works. We know that many will really like this idea while some may not. We are open to trying different types of music (via sat. radio). We are thinking more of a nice background type music. Please feel free to give us your input. If you have any problems with the music, please feel free to address things with management. We ask that you not place our employees in a situation that they would not be comfortable with.
Please check in from time to time as we will add things as the summer gets closer. Feel free to comment on these pages if you would like. If you have an announcement to make, please drop something off at the resort office. We will review and add to the forum if appropriate. If anyone would be interested in being a contributor on this forum, we are open to that as well. Maybe a poem section would interest tenants. Favorite cooking ideas or what have you. We are open to your ideas. Just let us know.
