We have noticed several boat trailers that were parked in our storage area but failed to register. By parking your trailer in the storage area, you do so with the understanding that you will register and pay for this type of parking. If you are one of those tenants, please let us know.

Socco and I would like to thank everyone who attended the events at Shadow Bay Belgians this past year. Without your attendance and donations, these events would not be happening. We only hope that you enjoyed attending them as much as we did. S.R.O. did another great job in July and Storm Creek ended in August with a bang bringing a new definition to the term "Rockin Country".

We also enjoyed hosting the Ladies night at the barn. The gals seem to really enjoy this and the event this year when very well.

Now it is time for us to get ready for the horse show we will be attending at Sandpoint, ID. Lots to do and the date will be here before we know it.

There are still four mobile homes and trailers for sale at Watson's Resort. There is one double wide for sale, one single wide, a park model and a RV type trailer with slider. Read earlier forum posts for additional information and contact information.

Thanks to all of you who attended the barn dance on Sat. July 17th. It was another well attended event and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thanks also to all of you who donated to help bring back the band "Standing Room Only".

The next barn event is just a couple weeks away as the Lady's of Watson's Resort have their annual barn party.

On Aug. 7th will be yet another barn dance featuring the band "Storm Creek". The will fill the air with so much music that the fly's will even be dancing. Come join the fun. Look for the sign up sheet on the resort bulletin board.

The "STANDING ROOM ONLY" band will perform again this year on July 17th, from 6pm to 10pm at Shadow Bay Belgians.

Just a reminder, there are two barn dances coming up at Shadow Bay Belgians. The first will feature "STANDING ROOM ONLY". This dance is on July 17th. The second will feature Western Washington Rockin dance band "Storm Creek" on Aug. 7th. Mark your calenders now.

For both Events, you may show up any time after 5:30pm. Music and food will start at 6pm. Bring a favorite dish of food to share. The more the better. Bring your own beverage but remember, drink with respect to all for this is a family event. Bring a donation to help fund the event. A suggested mimimum donation of $10 per adult or $15 per couple (kids free) and bring the entire family. Music is scheduled from 6pm to 10pm.

Remember, these events are not put on by Watson's Resort. This is a private event put on by Bub and Socco Watson (Shadow Bay Belgians). Anyone attending must be invited and must sign up. This is not an open to the public event. All resort guests and tenants are invited. Please speak to Bub or Socco if you wish to invite other guests other than yourselves. All invited guests shall be responsible for their children and guests attend and by attending an event at Shadow Bay Belgians, you do so with the understanding that you shall hold Watson's Resort, Shadow Bay Belgians, any Watson family member or employee thereof, harmless in the event of an accident which may cause damage, harm or death to anyone attending.

This one is new to the market and is at a close location to the lake. It is a 14x60 single wide, two bedroom, one bath with cathedral ceiling, dining area, central air and large deck. Our guess is that the upcoming July 4th weekend will be a big one if weather is nice.

Please remember that Fireworks of any kind are not allowed at Watson's Resort.

Please have all guests sign in at the office.

Parking could be a problem this weekend so car pool if you can. If parking is full, it is full. Do not just park anywhere or you may be towed if parking becomes a problem. Other vehicles and trailers can not be blocked in and roadways must remain open in the event of an emergency.

Please be respectful of your neighbors and the resort rules. Lets all get along and follow the rules so that everyone can have an enjoyable weekend.

Watson's Resort is very lucky to have Ambria and Kristen back to man the boat dock for the summer of 2010. They will also be offering a couple days of fun kids events this summer so keep an eye open for more to come on the Resort Bulletin board. Joining Ambria and Kristen as a fill in dock attendance will be Nick Moore, a 2010 Wenatchee High Graduate. He will also be helping with other chores around the resort. We also welcome our resort handyman, Adam. We are very happy with the crew we have this year.
